Life at Crown Center

Activities

If you don't go, you won't know...

The variety of things to do each month at The Gladys & Henry Crown Center for Senior Living is what attracts new residents and delights current ones. Beyond the many trips to buy essentials and shop at special markets, using the Crown Center bus, there are opportunities to dine out, attend concerts and operas, visit art exhibits and museums, and go on outings to parks, historic sites, international festivals, and more.

"Living at Crown Center, I can do things I had given up because night driving is now out of the question for me. I started participating in many Crown Center activities before I even moved in last year, and now that I am here, I don't have enough time to take advantage of all there is to do. I wouldn't live anywhere else." (from a resident, describing her experience at Crown Center.)

Several residents were chatting with a visitor to Crown Center and shared their ages. When told all three were in their 80's, she said, "But you look so young." One of the residents replied, "It's because of this place--living at Crown Center keeps
us young!"
