The Gladys & Crown Center for Senior Living offers vibrant and varied Jewish life opportunities, open to all. Shabbat services, holiday celebrations, informative speakers, mitzvah opportunities, and participation in community events are some of the ways that residents and other Jewish seniors can stay connected with Jewish traditions. Partnerships with congregations, schools, and agencies from across the spectrum of the St. Louis Jewish community provide intergenerational and creative activities. Sustaining a high level of quality programming, Crown Center is committed to being responsive to the needs and interests of our residents. the annual pre-Rosh Hashana "Apples and Honey" event to express good wishes
for a sweet new year.

Crown Center had a special Chanukah dinner with entertainment Dec. 14, 2009. Board members
and their families helped serve and celebrated with residents.

Eight Crown Center women celebrated their Bat Mitzvah on June 5, 2009. They prepared for this under the guidance of Rabbi Elizabeth Hersh (right below) and Ronit Sherwin (left below),
St. Louis Jewish educators.
